Swag Buck Strategy

Even though I haven't done much blogging in the past 4 weeks, nor couponing, it doesn't mean I haven't been trying to figure out some real concrete ways to either save or make money for the family. And as a side note, it's really nice to be able to say "for MY family" lol.  Swagbucks for me is probably the most profitable earning website that can be utilized without having to get referrals all the time.

This is my situation. I have worked since I was 15 and I'm now 27 and without a job because I want to be the best parent possible for Phoenix.  However, I have this instinct to work even through my honey makes enough money to pay the essential bills. Our budget right now doesn't include room for savings nor my student loans that will be coming out of deferment in the next year.  Thankfully with Swag Bucks I can either request Amazon gift cards or Paypal for actual cash.

Recyclebank

Recyclebank is an earning website that allows you to earn items while learning about how to recycle. Being a huge hippie and all I should have already of posted about this site but to be honest I have so much going on now that I do online, I was just like not one more thing!  However, a good friend of mine told me about how much she loved the site and just exactly what they had to offer. So I registered and checked out what all you could earn and learned that I could earn free organic baby food coupons!! OMG!! Considering I'm going to be a new mom in less than a week I was hooked right then! I started to do the quizzes and such to earn points and I have to say it was quite easy and no matter if you get the quizzes wrong or right you still earn the points! Also it encourages you to buy products that you can recycle and earn points from! (don't worry these items are things you buy anyway)   So stop on by and see what all you can earn!  Here is the link again! Recyclebank

House Party Package Arrived!

HouseParty.com is a website that is a different type of earning website in that you simply apply to host brand name parties sponsored by different companies. There is no guarantee that you will get to host but it doesn't take long to apply and if you get selected you receive free materials and most of the time coupons as well!

Here is what I received with the Bic Soleil razor party that I'm hosting. Each of my 14 guest will receive a scrapbook kit with a razor and a 3.00/1 coupon! As the Host I receive a free 3 pack of razors, a scrapbook kit, coupon, usb bracelet to hold all the photos of the party and a huge 36 pack of Bic markers for party use of decorating our scrapbook kits!! This is part of the Bic promotional Days of Summer giveaways that you can enter on their website! Houseparty.com is exclusive to this giveaway but they have awesome giveaways on the website.

In order to host I will have to show that I hosted by uploading pictures to the house party website but this is no problem. Also they will ask for me to do a survey afterwards that ask about the product and guest responses. Remember that you won't always be selected to host and sometimes host posts are very limited! But just keep applying and you never know what you might get to host!!

Earning Cash Back Through Upromise

If you haven't heard of Upromise yet then you should read about it now! Upromise was one of the first earning websites that I ever signed up for. I actually signed up while I was in college for my own college savings. Back then they didn't have as many sites and different ways to earn or get paid. I am so pleased that they have decided to expand and make a good idea into an incredible website.

They utilize eCoupons, coupon codes, and much more. The initial way to save is to shop at an online store through a link and a percentage of your sales will come back to you as a savings which you can use to pay off student loans or get a check. You can also sign up your loyalty cards and load them with eCoupons or when you purchase a sponsoring product you can get savings.
These eCoupons however do not come off at the register instead they must be processed through the website and that may take a few weeks. Don't fret though cause Upromise is like having a savings account. Sign up and you can explore the site and the many different options to save. They even feature local restaurants that will give back a percentage to your savings as well.

If you have young children you can sponsor their college savings by giving them the savings instead just by entering their names as the benefactors of your savings. In a crazy world where college tuition goes up each year this is an equalizer to help your kids in the right path!

Easter Eggs & House Parties

Happy Easter!

I hope everyone went to CVS to get their free Paas egg dye kits and other free Easter supplies. The ECB's you earned can now go for other items like a bubble bath gel that you are going to need after a long day of hiding eggs, cooking, and if you have been up since sunrise! Thankfully its a beautiful day today and I hope its just as beautiful where ever you are reading.

When I knew that I wouldn't be working during my pregnancy and then decided that I wouldn't work until my son was at least 2 or 3 and daycare ready, I started looking for ways that I could help out the household and not have to spend money to get started like you would doing a home sales business.  Naturally my journey led me to coupons. I also was lead to sites like Swagbucks.  The site that I would like to talk about today is House Party. You don't have to do anything to earn points or anything like that. You just have to register and then look at the list of parties available by sponsors like Kraft, Bic, & even sponsors like Captain Morgan! Each time you sign up for a party you will need to fill out the application, submit it, and then check your e-mail for the confirmation.  This doesn't mean that you will get picked for the party but the more you sign up for the more of a chance you have. They also have a Facebook page you can check out that is filled with pics from past parties.  Their party choices range from kid age to adult. I am currently signed up for six parties! The company has only been around since 2005 but it has definitely boomed!  When you go to look at the party page to see what it's all about, the company will list what kind of party they are hoping for you to do and they also list the packets they send. Lots of times the packets come with free coupons for the Host to buy the products and the guest get coupons for so much off.  The Host and guest also receive promo products and lots more!

Who wants to Party?

In my last post I talked about the new things I have learned so far as a homemaker and how hopefully I will learn new things and post them as I learn. Well I clicked on a link today posted by a yahoo article talking about coupons savings. Well in the article the author also posted other things like free offers and different websites that offer more than just freebies. I didn't really see anything interesting besides the different coupons sites and a site that host parties. At first I thought it was an at home party business thing and I'm always looking at those. However, it was actually a site about being a host for a sponsored party that name brand companies sponsored. I was so amazed at the site! I had no idea this was available and even though you have to apply and it doesn't mean that you actually get to host it, but it is amazing that I could have the chance to do it!! The site is www.houseparty.com , Go check it out and see what you think. Also if you are a friend of mine in the local area of marion or near by then please sign up so we can have a chance to get some cool parties on!!! It's totally free to sign up and you only sign up for the parties you want!

Learning New Ways

I have been working ever since I was 15 years old. And being raised in an old fashioned working family, my first job was a paper route! Being that I'm 27 now its kinda hard to be without a job. Being pregnant is actually quite boring unless the baby is kicking or you get to go to the doctor! I am however very grateful that I have a hard working man that gives me the luxury of being able to stay home and raise our future child (coming in June)! So with this new lifestyle I'm learning to do other things with my time. I'm pretty sure that most days will be filled full with housework, baby taming, & errand running. I try to multi-task as much as possible and so I know there will be a few days that I will be able to have some time to myself. Although being a working minded woman I don't really plan on taking this time to go pamper myself unless it's a nice hot bath and a massage from my wonderful man.

Being that I'm going to be home I don't want to spend my time by spending money. I won't be bringing any bank worthy paper so I have to budget my time in order to be able to contribute to the budget. So needless to say I have been looking at stay home jobs that don't require money being spent to start...... not much luck there. Another idea is to take my crafts to a new level and sell them. But again like in any business, it takes money to make money. Alright, now it's time to do a complete 180 on the thought process. Instead of trying to find a job why not look at the job I have now... stay at home mom. How can I generate money this way if I'm not technically getting paid?

Then I realized that I can get paid by helping my guy make his pay check last a little bit longer. Growing up I watched my mom make the dollar bill look like a twenty after she got done with her saving ways. No, my mom wasn't into counterfeit bills. She was able to make the most for her money by doing simple things like organizing, cleaning, and coupons. Speaking of coupons, I'm so excited about that new show that has all those people using the coupon way and getting like 600 worth of food for like ten bucks!! Seriously can't wait!

I have also come across a new way to save that we really didn't think to use until now. The computer is now my super saver! I can do all kinds of things virtually that help me save. I did run across a new website that now helps me earn what they call prizes. Its called Swag Bucks. I learned about it through some friends bragging about it on Facebook and so I did a little research before signing up. I didn't want to have to buy things to get a little bit of benefit. Thankfully it is a great website that lets me earn things like, electronics, housewares, & gift cards. If you would like to check it out then just hit the link I have attached.

Search & Win

This allows you to be my referral if you sign up and I will be totally grateful. Also explore the website to see all the ways you can earn. You can also add a banner link like I have that will allow you to have referrals from your friends as well!

Hopefully as I become more home savvy I will be posting other great ways to save and earn so that you can too.
